
The Wild Ox Events
After the global pandemic nothing is more important now than coming together as a community, being in each others presence.
The Wild Ox Events offer that opportunity, to come together, share in the practices of Mindfulness,
Tai Chi, Qigong and connect with Nature.

Weekly Classes
The Wild Ox classes are not your typical classes, everyone has an opportunity to participate and lead elements of the class.
We begin with meditation and checking in with each other, engaging in the Tai Chi/Qigong practice for the session and end with a guided meditation led by a class attendee.
Sangha meetings are recorded on video for replay on the app if you're unable to attend and interested in the practices and topics of the meeting.
Into The Wild
Once a month a class will be replaced by a day weekend retreat into Nature, where we'll visit wild areas such as the Lake District in Cumbria.
On these retreats we bring with us the practices from classes to help us truly tune into nature and come back home to ourselves. These retreats will normally involve hiking and camping, but offer an opportunity to change gear and slow down.


Social Action
In order to be well as individuals we must ensure that our world is healthy too. Social Action is an important part of this, from community clean ups, cultivating wild spaces amongst our buildings and supporting members of the wider community. Through social action we learn to live in harmony and become guardians and caretakers of our precious communities and planet.
Social Actions are chosen every 2 months by the group.
